Kids’ Choice Awards 2008: Ashlee Simpson and America Ferrera

Ashlee Simpson arrived at the Kids’ Choice Awards looking classy in a grey strapless Alexander McQueen dress. Even with the bright heels, her look was a little dull for such a fun event. I would have liked to see her in a sassier, brighter outfit — do you agree?

I really like the idea of a cocktail dress for the Kids’ Choice Awards but this David Meister chartreuse silk taffeta slip dress seems a bit more wedding appropriate. It’s pretty, and America looks stunning, I’m just not sure it’s the right dress at the right time. I’ll leave the decision on those wedges up to you as well.
